Amazon or the author recommends to read Cavalcade second, but I wanted to continue with Fiona & Allyssa's story, so I read this 2nd, and am starting Vetted Again as soon as I finish this review.What's not to like? More about the lives of Allyssa and Fiona on their remote ranch, veterinary practice, and horse rescue.Ok, as a few have pointed out, and I did take notice BUT chose to ignore it, yes, parts of their story are definitely not believable. BUT, so far, this series isn't a cookie cutter version of so many out there.When I read, I'm looking to escape reality, so I can ignore a few outlandish situations so long as the characters have depth & grow.
Avidly read all 5 Vetted books about a contemporary lesbian couple and their lesbian ancestors. I'm giving the series 5 stars although I thought Cavalcade was really about 3.5. It just didn't have the power of the other books which all run strong from start to finish. K'Anne is an awesome writer and I have never not enjoyed any of her books (19 so far) so encourage ever woman who wants to read about the love of another woman or non-lesbian who want to learn something, give the books a try.
Vetted Further continues the saga of the Herriot family. Fiona and Allyssa have lived at the ranch in Oregon for a year and finally get their house built. Allyssa decides she wants to start their family and the plot unfolds from their. This series has another book coming November, 2018. I recommend you start with “Cavalcade†and read on through. A good read
This series is one of my favorites!! I finished this book and now wait anxiously for the next! Once again, this author keeps you hooked from beginning to the end. Fiona and Allyssa have become those characters that you just need to know what continues to go on in their lives. They have become family.
I love the roller coaster ride of emotions I felt reading this. The characters are so easy to love. However, please tell me Rosemary gets bit by a horse named karma!! UghI have read all the Herriot family books and can’t wait for the next. A heart warming tall of 2 women who are strong and intelligent. 2 women who stand together through all life throws at them and do it together.
I loved the first book, Vetted, I like this one. While it states the book is 316 pages, it's no where near that long. It ends in a way that there has be a third book. I do love Fey and Alyssa and their families.
I loved Vetted Further by K’Anne Meinel. Absolutely Great! The theme is work hard, use your brain and don’t worry about how other people judge you. Loved this book.
I look forward to each book in this series. I loved the characters once I started this book I couldn't put it down. Highly recommend this series very ðŸ‘read
