About the Author
Stephen P. Robbins PhD University of Arizona Stephen P. Robbins is professor emeritus of management at San Diego State University and the world’s best-selling textbook author in the areas of both management and organizational behavior. In his “other life,” Dr. Robbins actively participates in masters’ track competitions. In 2005, Dr. Robbins was elected into the USA Masters’ Track & Field Hall of Fame. Timothy A. Judge PhD University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Timothy A. Judge is currently the Alutto Professor of Leadership at The Ohio State University; and Visiting Professor, Division of Psychology & Language Sciences, University College London. This book was most definitely not manufactured by the publisher. There are so many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors that it hindered on my learning. So far I've read chapters 1, 3, and 5 and they're all the same. I'm too busy analyzing and interpreting what the words should be instead of learning about OB. If you can excuse/ignore the errors this book may be worth it for you, but it wasn't for me. It may be worth buying from your university's bookstore, rather than this shoddy one.
This book has many misspellings in the first 3 pages of chapter 1 alone. What are activeties?
This is the worst textbook that I have ever read. It is written poorly and with a bias tone. It seems as though author pieces sentences together from sources that he agrees with to reassure himself of his own opinions and ideologies, rather than researching topics fully to get an accurate representation of information. Ironically, confirmation bias is a definition in book.
You know those small cluster of textbooks or books you see in doctor's or lawyer's office? Well this is one of those to keep in your office if you are studying Organized Behavior :)
