There is nothing that proves a map like using it. Roads weave through mountains when they should be in the Savannah or jungle. Wow, when you think there is only one flippen road North/South and they got it wrong, one road, come on International Travel Maps. Thumbs down.

You've got a an alcoholic vicar who stalks a woman who went out on a date with him in high school and tells us all about it through products that help him do those things, a juvenile delinquent who wants to grow pot, a crazy old pushing a supermarket trolley around the place lady, a farmer and many other eccentric characters. What works is that there will be many incidents where one character will recount what happened through their review of a product, then a few review entries later another character that was there will mention the same incident with a different point of view of who was in the right and who was in the wrong. Sort of like in real life someone will go on a date with someone and tell you how great it was, how the other person was so into them, then you'll talk to the other person and they'll tell you they never want to see that person again and recount the same events in a negative manner.I don't think any individual fake reviews in this collection are funnier than the fake reviews that have received legendary status on here such as the The Mountain Three Wolf Moon Short Sleeve Tee, but overall the collection is amusing and of a high enough level of fun to check out the sequels.

The first Idiot Review e-book I read. Following a unique format, Pete Sortwell weaves a tale through a community of individuals seemingly qualify as the "village idiot". After finding the initial connections between reviews to unveil the characters, I found this book to be hysterically funny! The bit that brings the most surprise is that the products listed are linked to actual products available (at least at the time of my reading the book). Being a light read makes this book easy to sit down and read a large chunk in a single sitting. If you divide this up into smaller sections you will miss the larger story and not find this book to be as humorous.The book follows a very British-style of humor, which I appreciate. If you do, then I have to believe you will enjoy this book as well.

"The Village Idiot Reviews" certainly does create some laugh-out-loud moments (the first review, for example, is hilarious). However, the book overall feels a bit too long with quite a few reviews that miss the mark on humor.The most impressive aspect of this book is that Sortwell develops a fluid narrative through these reviews. It's a brilliant premise, but taking out a few of the reviews could make this into a tighter and much more enjoyable read. Still, Sortwell should be commended for his work here, and it's definitely worth grabbing a copy just for a handful of these reviews that really will make you burst out laughing.

That being titled, it is a funny book, just not "laugh out loud" funny. It does have a humorous storyline driven by Amazon reviews, and as you read along, the reviews and the storyline do intertwine nicely...and certain characters may remind you of people you know. All in all, worth the price I paid (free) so I'm satisfied and it certainly wasn't the worst comedy I've read.

This was a clever and unique way to tell the story of a small town. It was fun to try and guess who had written the review (and what trouble they had gotten themselves into).

I am finding this book quite frustrating. Nothing was making sense until I was half way through. There are a lot of spelling errors, not to mention missing letters as well as double words. The spelling is old English, which is fine. That did throw me off at first. I would not highly recommend this book, if at all.

It's alright. I didn't find it particularly funny, overall, but some were amusing.

Excellent! I am a beginning quilter and these are all quilts I could actually do! All are attractive, look great, but are simple enough I could (and intend to) sew all of them. I can heartily recommend this book. I've done a lot of "mickey mouse" patterns but these, while simple, do not look as easy as they truly are.

The authors offer down to earth advice on choosing fabrics. Great for fat quarters and other specialty cuts. They may be simple to piece quilts but they look quite impressive.

I wanted something for quick quilts. This was not it. If you have never made a quilt, this would be a good place to start. Not much of interest for me, but good for a real newbie.

The patterns range from very beginner to more complex, though everything is within reach even for a new quilter. Not as complete in that the patterns refer you to a website for tips on binding and quilting your quilt, instead of including General Instructions in the book as their "3 Times the Charm book 2" does. Still, gorgeous fabrics and easy to follow instructions.

This is a terrific book of quilt patterns with designs that are really attractive and perfect for new quilters such as myself. I really like the look of the quilts they designed, putting the bright, cheery fabrics next to solid colors like white which shows them off to their best. It is the look I really like, and while I understand that the choice of fabrics don't have to be the same as the book's selection, it was helpful to get my attention quickly! The instructions are clear and the pictures are vivid and helpful. I really liked all of the patterns and I look forward to making several of them with the new stash of quilting fabric that I am rapidly accumulating.

This is the best book for beginning quilters I've ever found. The 12 quilts run from "super-ultra simple" to "simple" & all have interesting designs. As a beginning quilter, I feel confident trying out some of these quilts to reduce my stash of quilting cottons.

Did the program, my vertical increased and I really felt stronger and more stable. It is very hard work though, you need to get used to holding an isometric position in a lot of pain for 30 seconds or more. There is also some great info in here, enjoyed the book and got results. Tim Grover is pretty impressive.

The book was ok but loved the relentless book better. But then again, I don't practice basketball so maybe it has more to do with this (-: (although I practice sports as well)

This was an interesting read and I took concepts from it to use with my kids. Worth while for anyone working with high school kids or older.

No better workout routine for athletes. Tim Grover is the best at what he does. Buy this book and complete the workout, over and over, if you truly wish to be better than the rest.

First 2 weeks of the program and the workouts feels amazing, I cant test my vertical gain so far, because I haven't finished the program yet, but I love the sequence routine for legs, you feel the burn immediately and my legs are getting stronger. I will update this review when I finish the entire program.

I bought this book for my teenage son who is a sports nut and wants to increase his vertical jump. He loves it and has found excellent results following this programme. He is not someone who loves reading, so it gives me great delight to see him carrying this book around - dog-eared from being read over and over.

I started doing the workout. I am a basketball coach. While I have not tried jumping yet. I feel the strength in my legs and core growing after just the first couple of weeks. I really enjoy the timed workouts as well as the reps. It's a good workout.
